Windows Hosts file මගින් ‍වෙබ් සයිට් බ්ලොක් කරමු.

මොකද්ද මේ Hosts file එක?
HOSTS file එක කියන්නේ මුලිකවම වෙබ් ලිපින වලින් යුතු කුඩා ලැයිස්තුවක්.අප විසින් බ්‍රවුසරයට ලිපිනයක් ලබා දුන් විට එම වෙබ් අඩවිය සදහා අදාල IP ලිපිනය සොයා ගැනීමට බ්‍රවුසරය මුලින්ම සිදු කරන්නේ අදාල පරිගනකයේ මෙම HOSTS file එක කියවා බැලීමය.එතුල අදාල IP එක නොමැතිනම් බ්‍රවුසරය සුපුරුදු DNS resolving process එක කරගෙන යනු ලැබේ.

මෙය නම් කර ඇත්තේ නිකම්ම hosts ලෙස වන අතර දිගුවක්(extension)නොමැත.එම නිසා මෙය විවෘත කිරීමේදී Notepad වලින් විවෘත කර ගන්න.
එතකොට මෙන්න මේ වගේ තියෙනවා,

මෙහි 127.0.0.1 යනු ඔබේ පරිගනකයේ IP ලිපිනයයි.නිකමට එය බ්‍රවුසරයේ Address bar එක තුල ටයිප්(සිංහලයට ඇති දුර්වලතා ගැන ලැජ්ජා වෙමි)කර බලන්න. ඔබට වෙබ් පිටුවක් දිස් නොවේ.

දැන් අපි බ්ලොක් කිරීමට අවැසි ලිපිනය පහත පරිදි ලබා දීම සිදු කරමු.

තච දුරටත් බැලුවොත් අපට මෙමගින් www.yahoo.com වෙත යාමට උත්සහා දරන්නෙක් www.google.com වෙත හෝ අපට අවැසි තැනකට දක්කා ගැනීමටද පුළුවනි.

ලෙස ලබා දී Hosts file එක පුරුදු පරිදි සුරැකුම්(Save) කර ගන්න.සුරැකීමේදී දිගුවක්(extension)නොමැතිව සුරැකීමට මතක තබා ගත යුතුය.

DOS හිදී IP ලිපින සෙවීම පහත විධානයෙන් නර ගත හැකිය.
